Privacy Policy

The short version
Lord Balde Mark Adventure runs in your browser. There are no accounts or logins. With your permission, we use Google Analytics to count visits and see how the game is played. Nothing is tracked unless you agree. Your scores and settings stay on your device unless you choose to submit a score to the optional global leaderboard.
Data stored on your device
- Game progress and settings (high scores per mode, completed challenges, totals such as rounds played, sound, motion and control preferences) are saved in your browser’s local storage.
- Game files are stored in your browser’s cache by a service worker so the game can be played offline.
- Your privacy choices (whether you allowed analytics and, if they are ever switched on, ads) are saved in your browser’s local storage.
- Only if you allow analytics: Google Analytics cookies (
_gaand_ga_…) holding a random identifier, set for this site only.
Apart from the analytics described below (only with your permission), this data is not sent to us or anyone else. Clearing your browser’s site data, or uninstalling the installed app, permanently deletes it. You can also erase your scores at any time in the game under Settings → Reset scores.
Global leaderboard (optional)
The global leaderboard is currently not enabled on this site. No scores are sent anywhere.
Sending your score to the global leaderboard is always your choice. It only happens when you press Submit. Nothing is uploaded automatically, and every game mode works without it.
What we store when you submit
- Shown publicly to all players: the nickname you type, your score, the usable water you saved, the game mode and the date.
- Kept but never shown: how long your round lasted, a random code that stops the same round being submitted twice, and a scrambled copy of your removal key (see below).
- Checked, then not kept: your round summary (water collected and lost, catches, hazards, pails ruined, trips to the drum) is sent so the server can check the score is genuine. Only the items listed above are saved.
We do not collect your email, real name, account, phone number or location. Please don’t use your real name as a nickname.
Your IP address
When you submit, the server sees your internet (IP) address. We never save the address itself. We save only a scrambled fingerprint of it, which cannot be read back as your address, and we use it for one thing: stopping spam by limiting how many scores one connection can send in 10 minutes. The fingerprint is deleted automatically within 24 hours. Your score stays on the leaderboard.
Where the leaderboard is hosted
The leaderboard runs on Cloudflare (Cloudflare Workers and D1). Like any hosting provider, Cloudflare handles your request and may keep short-term technical logs under its own privacy policy: cloudflare.com/privacypolicy. We have switched off the optional request logs in our own Cloudflare settings.
Removing your score or nickname
- On the device you used: open Leaderboard → My Best and press Remove. It is deleted straight away.
- If you no longer have that device, or you see an offensive nickname: email [CONTACT EMAIL — TO BE ADDED] with the nickname, game mode, score and date. Because nicknames are not tied to accounts, we may ask a question or two before removing someone’s entry.
Your remembered nickname is stored only on your device. You can change or forget it in Settings.
Analytics (optional)
Analytics is currently not enabled on this site. No analytics scripts are loaded.
If you allow it, this site uses Google Analytics to understand how many people visit and how the game is played. Nothing is loaded or sent before you agree, and saying no does not change the game in any way.
- What is collected: the pages you view; these game events: mode chosen, round started and finished (mode, win or loss, how the round ended, rating, whole litres saved, round length in seconds), intro skipped, challenge completed, leaderboard opened or a score submitted (mode and success or error only), app installed, update applied, and sound switched off; your device type, browser, screen size and approximate location (country or city), which Google derives from your internet address. Google Analytics does not store that address.
- What is never collected: your leaderboard nickname, your email or anything you type.
- Cookies: after you agree, Google Analytics sets the
_gaand_ga_…cookies, holding a random identifier, for this site only. If you withdraw your consent, the game stops sending data and deletes them. - Who processes it: Google, on our behalf. We keep the data for 2 months and do not use it for advertising. Learn how Google uses information from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
Your choices
In the game you can also change this under Settings → Privacy choices.
Advertising
Advertising is currently not enabled on this site. No advertising scripts are loaded.
This site may show ads served by Google AdSense on its information pages (never inside the game). Ads load only after you agree, and only while you are online.
If you agree, Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to serve and measure ads, which can include personalised ads based on your visits to this and other websites. You can allow or refuse ads under Your choices above.
Third parties
The game itself makes no third-party requests, except to the leaderboard server when you open the global rankings or submit a score (only if the leaderboard is enabled) and, only if analytics is enabled and you allow it, to Google Analytics on every page, including the game. Fonts, art and sound are bundled with the site. If advertising is enabled and you consent, requests are made to Google’s advertising services as described above.
The optional More Games by PeraMama link simply opens peramama.com in a new tab. No nickname, score or other game data is sent with it, and that website has its own privacy policy.
Your rights under the Data Privacy Act
This site follows the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173) and its implementing rules. We collect as little as possible, use it only for the purposes described on this page, and keep it only as long as needed.
Under the law you have the right to be informed about how your data is used, to access it, to object to its use, to have it corrected, to have it erased or blocked, to data portability, and to claim damages. You can also file a complaint with the National Privacy Commission. To use any of these rights, contact us using the email below.
Children
The game is satire intended for mature players and is not directed at children.
